Fall 2008---E-Newsletter

Dear valued clients & patients,

In an effort to better serve you we have started a client e-newsletter!   In the very near future we anticipate being able to send these quarterly via email.

Most importantly, we would like to thank you for trusting us to take care of your pet’s health.  It is truly an honor and a privilege.  Our main goal is to provide only the best in veterinary medical care. As a result we are making several major changes to our wellness protocols.

First, we will begin by performing routine bloodwork screening during each annual exam.  Even in young dogs and cats early disease can be detected.  The earlier we can catch a disease the better chances we have to treat!  As you can imagine, we find even more problems in our senior patients which makes the bloodwork screening very important!

Second, there is scientific evidence that many of our core immunizations (vaccines) will protect for longer than one year.  As some of you may have learned, there is some concern that pets are being over vaccinated.   Due to this concern we find it in the best interest of our patients to change a few of our vaccine protocols.  Some of your pet’s vaccines are not needed annually but rather on an every three year schedule. HOWEVER, it is still very important that your pet receive a physical examination each year along with those vaccines that need to be given once yearly.

We are making an effort to improve our communication via the internet & through email.

Please contact us with your email address to be added to our emailing list at info@quailandhiddenah.com.

Thank you again,
